16) Will my Insurance pay for HBOT?
This depends on your condition, or diagnosis, and the kind of insurance you have. Although HBOT is approved by the FDA, AMA, Medicare and Medicaid, insurance will pay for treatment on some diseases and not others. Not all plans will pay for all the varied indications all the time.
Dr. Stoller has submitted application to New Mexico Human Services Department requesting that TBI and CP be covered by HBOT as a benefit. We are awaiting their response.
