8) Is HBOT alternative medicine?
Giving more oxygen is not alternative medicine, it is sound science and common sense. HBOT has been the Cinderella of conventional medicine, in part, because it has not been all that available and physicians are not all that familiar with its benefits and uses. Oxygen therapy under hyperbaric conditions is going through an evolution and is gaining momentum as acceptance grows throughout the world, often driven by patients and their relatives.
